Terms and Conditions for painting workshop and art lesson booking
When you pay for a painting Workshop(s) or lesson(s), you are signifying that you agree to these booking terms and conditions.
1.Booking
1.1 Painting workshops and lessons are offered on a first-come, first served basis and are secured once payment has been received.
1.2 Gift voucher recipients have priority for booking places and will be contacted before others on the list.
1.3 To book a place you can call or email Cathryn to check for availability on your chosen day.
2.Payment
2.1 Payment details will be sent via email when Cathryn has confirmed she has a space for you on your chosen day.
2.2 You will be asked and required to pay within two weeks prior to your workshop or lesson date. You are welcome to pay earlier if you wish.
3. Cancellations / Refunds
3.1 Following payment, if you realised you cannot attend the workshop or lesson, please notify Cathryn as soon as possible, with a minimum of 7 days before, as she may be able to fill the space. If the space is filled, Cathryn will issue you a refund or carry the payment over to another workshop or lesson at a later date, which ever you prefer.
3.2 Unfortunately last minute cancellations, within 7 days before the date, due to illness or other reasons, will not be refunded unless a replacement person can be found at short notice.
3.3 Illness due to Covid 19 is classed as general illness which applies to the paragraph above (3.2)
3.4 Cathryn has the right to cancel a workshop or lesson at short notice due to her own illness or other reasons. Cathryn will contact attendees via their email address. A refund or lesson owed will then be issued.
3.5 Workshop or lesson cancellations or postponements due to extreme weather are at Cathryn’s discretion. If the workshop or lesson is postponed and you cannot attend the new date then a refund or workshop/lesson owed will be arranged, whichever you prefer.
4. Privacy Policy
4.1 Your email address was given and added to Cathryn’s contact list only at your discretion. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ text at the bottom of the email flyer or by contacting Cathryn direct.
4.2 By being on this list and booking on to a workshop or lesson, your personal Data is collected. This includes your name and contact details, such as your email address, possibly phone number and/or postal address.
4.3 For purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, Cathryn Jeff Art is the ‘data controller’.
4.4 Data you submit will be retained for12 months.
4.5 Unless obliged or permitted by law to do so, and subject to any third party disclosure specifically set out in this policy, your Data will not be disclosed to third parties.
4.6 All personal Data is stored securely in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998.
4.7 Data may be used for the following reasons: Internal record keeping, Invoice and receipt documentation.
4.8 You have the right to ask that your Data be removed at any time.
